Flip-up helmets have become increasingly popular in recent years because the fold-up chin bar makes for greater convenience without any significant compromise on safety. When buying a flip-up helmet, the first, and most important, thing to check is that it fits firmly but comfortably when the chin bar is closed. Other criteria are good ventilation, an anti-fog visor and aerodynamics. All the flip-up helmets in our range conform to the safety requirements of the current test standard ECE 22.05. If you're in any doubt, you can order two different sizes from Louis online and try them out. Louis will take back any item that does not fit or which you do not like.
