Replacement Kit R100 1980- R100 FROM 09/1980
Siebenrock R100 REPLACEMENT KIT:
To equip R100 models (GBk, R, RBk, RT, CS) built after 09/1980 with high-quality
components, the replacement kit offers everything that enthusiasts of classic BMW models will appreciate.
In addition to two Nikasil-coated cylinders, it also includes
forged pistons that are 110 grams lighter than the original parts, as well as high-quality
piston ring sets and piston pins with corresponding retaining rings.
included in the scope of delivery. The set is rounded off by comprehensive installation instructions
and a certificate. Just like its small sister, the 1000 also enjoys a decent increase in power and torque across the entire power band after installing the replacement kit. A powerful 67 PiBk can be achieved after the upgrade. In use, the kit shines with its smooth running and – thanks to the lighter pistons – a not inconsiderable degree of spontaneity.
Gaskets are not included in the scope of delivery and must be ordered separately under order no. 60190100.
TIP:
- In order to provide the engine oil with adequate cooling, we also recommend installing an additional oil pan spacer ring or an oil cooler kit (see "Matching items").
- These motorbikes can achieve rich revving, lively response, and, last but not least, powerful starting torque with the use of the asymmetrical Siebenrock camshaft (see "Matching items").
Classic bikes from BMW hold a fascination that few other brands can match. Jochen Siebenrock also fell under the BMW spell. Ever since he established his firm, he has specialised in preserving the classic forms of the past while bringing them right up-to-date through innovative engineering. The development of technically enhanced remakes of sought-after accessories focuses on eliminating known weak points from the start. Thus Siebenrock components mean more performance, more sound and, most important of all, more riding enjoyment with classic bikes. All Siebenrock products are manufactured in the European Union, and more than 80 percent are even "Made in Germany".
