After installing the spoilers, stability at high speeds is improved and the risk of shimmy effects is reduced. The shimmy effect occurs when traction is lost on the front wheel and in most cases leads to a loss of control. The side spoilers support directional changes at high speeds. This works because the spoilers direct the air in a targeted manner. This downforce of up to 6 kg, which also guarantees the anti-wheelie effect during strong acceleration, is generated in the front axle.
