The HIghsider LED taillight is designed for easy installation. And it looks really great in black with its red lens and white license plate light. When in use, the light shines as a continuous strip thanks to its special LED light guide technology.
If a vehicle with a CaN bus/light control indicator is to be converted to LED taillights (e.g., many BMW models), a 7.5-ohm resistor must also be installed. Similarly, if the vehicle has an ABS warning light, such a resistor must be used for the brake light function. This prevents the ABS warning light from staying on continuously. Installation is always done in a parallel connection between the positive and negative wires of the taillight circuit.
