The outer shell consists of 4 parts and was developed in the wind tunnel. Particular attention has been paid to aerodynamics to keep the helmet stable at high speeds and thermodynamics to optimize thermal regulation.
Airoh's technological expertise is summed up in this new model, which features the AMS2 Plus (Airoh Multiaction Safety System Plus), AEFR (Airoh Emergency Fast Release) and AMLS (Airoh Magnetic Lining System) systems, which have evolved to include magnetic cheek pads.

Airoh is the helmet brand of Locatelli S.p.a. The North Italian company has been making helmets since 1986, initially for other brands in the motorcycle industry. Then, in 1997, the company founder Antonio Locatelli decided the time was right to create his own brand. The rest, as they say, is history. The many innovative design features of Airoh helmets demonstrate that production is only one of the areas in which Airoh's engineers are experts. The R & D department has its own wind tunnel and test laboratory, where the patented Airoh Multiaction Safety System AMS2, for example, was created. This unique system features silicone elements inserted between the two polystyrene layers of the inner shell. This acts like a shock absorber to dampen the severe twisting movements that typically occur during an accident. Motorsport also plays a major role in the development of Airoh helmets. Many motorcycle racers, especially off-road specialists, wear Airoh helmets.
